On July 1, 2017, for the first time, the “July morning” was welcomed at the Seven Rila Lakes, at an altitude of 2222m, accompanied by 22 bagpipes (part of 101 kaba bagpipes) and the dance ensemble with the Zora National Community Center, Dupnitsa. Colorful round dance was winding at the Rila Plateau, the voices of bagpipes echoed through the peaks, more than 250 people greeted the warm rays of the July sun! The event began with a one-hour hike to the lakes, which revealed an incredible view of the much-anticipated sunrise. The event was organized with the assistance of Champion Factory, Rila Sports and Our Home is Bulgaria Foundation.
